A bridge between coach and psychologist

According to a recent Korn Ferry survey, nearly two thirds of professionals say their stress levels at work are higher than they were five years ago.

What is Essential Conversations? It’s not a classic therapy centre or traditional counselling - but it provides the necessary support to help you navigate work stress better.

  • It’s a place that offers leaders, managers, and expats the opportunity to engage in conversations that cover a vast area of ground. 

  • It’s a place where they can share their fears and concerns, lay down their guard and get the help and support they need and deserve.

  • For some, it may be about addressing worries of failure, of not being able to keep up their pace of success, of losing their job or status, or the fear of seeing their loved ones suffering as a consequence of their hectic work life. 

  • For others, their teams may be falling apart, or their worst enemy appointed as their new boss – and often, it is a combination of the above happening all at once.

  • Others again, might be leading on unfamiliar territory and struggling to find their feet or hold their ground. If so, we can have that conversation too.

  • Essential Conversations was founded to create a safe place for leaders, managers and expats to talk in order to prevent burnout – and to recover from it.

Some facts

With the goal of fact-finding and identifying the causes that make up the challenges many of our leaders and managers currently face, the EAP provider StressPulse Survey has conducted several studies as recent as 2019. Their research concluded that while most leaders and managers are committed to performing at their best, when stress become unmanageable the reasons are many.
