Tine Jakobsen
Founder of Essential Conversations
The secret shadow behind many business leaders and managers, Tine Jakobsen has provided high-performance support for over 15 years. She studied psychology in Copenhagen, London and India, and holds degrees and credentials from a number of institutions. She is a Diplomate Member of the American Institute for Stress.
She couples her psychological background with over 20 years leading on talent management solutions, with a particular interest in strategic workforce planning and employee engagement. Having “walked the floors” in many businesses, Tine has a deep understanding of what it means to be a leader and manager, and the unique challenges they face.
In her personal life, she is a strong supporter of many humanitarian and environmental protection programmes, including in building a medical clinic in the Himalayas which has become a leading centre for cataract operations, restoring sight to people from underserved communities. Most recently, she has collaborated with CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, to organise high-profile conferences in support of science and our understanding of the world.
Her collective work continues to support leadership and engage people – and it is this combination of interests that led to her founding Essential Conversations.
